Independence Day Photo Essay

Mick and I spent our Fourth at Dodger Stadium, we had a great time! Originally we thought our seats were in the nose-bleed section, but it turned out that we had really great seats in between the Dodger dugout and the foul ball pole.

Everyone sitting in the outfield for the fireworks show had their cell phones out recording the action:

I *love* Dodger stadium. We used to get free tickets in high school for good grades, so I’ve been a few times. Nothing like a Dodger dog (although I’m guessing as a veggie, you passed on them) and peanuts and sitting there viewing the game and the palm trees around the stadium. The fireworks look great!

    cheers,

How cool is that!!! Dodger Stadium!!!!! When I was growing up it was the old Riverfront Stadium with the Cinncy Reds…. Hubby and I now have to settle on the Durham Bulls…just not quite the same….

Elaine–Yeah…we passed on the Dodger Dogs. You would never guess the sorts of stuff they sell now though. California Pizza Kitchen?! Dippin Dots?! It’s almost blasphemous!

Lea–Minor league ball has it’s own unique flair though. I’ve been to a few games, and they’re pretty fun too!
